Candace of ME: Thoughts about Life and the Like awarded me the Honest Scrap Award. Thank you Candace! As a recipient of this award, I need to say 10 honest things. Before I begin, I would like to say that Candace's mom is in remission for her cancer. Yea! Candace, her husband and her children shaved their heads (completely) to show their love and support for mom, mother-in-law, grandma (I love the bunny ears on your mom, Candace, cool beans!)

1) It is 8:16PM and I am watching Evan and Anna dance on DWTS. Actually now it is 8:46PM ET as I finish this post.

2) I am currently interviewing for two separate jobs (at the same company). Please keep your fingers crossed for me that if the right job is supposed to present itself (to me), it will. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be, right?! I believe in fate.

3) The "i" on my keyboard is sticking and I keep making typos.

4) I was REALLY bad on Saturday night. Please do not ask. I cannot tell.

5) I went to the massage place at the mall again this weekend for reflexology (a foot rub). I am going way too often. They giggle at me when I walk in. I took Chinese in high school but cannot remember any of it.

6) I am having trouble keeping up with my blogging. Work and kids and life are keeping me too busy. I am worried that I will peter out and be Pippi No Bloggie.

7) I watched Norbit Saturday night (the movie where Eddie M plays multiple characters) and laughed so hard at the scene where Eddie Murphy (in drag) as Norbit's wife, Rasputia, goes to the water park. I am going to try and find a YouTube clip and post it below. (I did.)

8) I ate three red velvet cookies tonight. Oh well. They were good.

9) This was my workout series this morning: 1) 30 Day Shred 1; 2) Bootylicious Buns w/ Stephanie Vitorino 1; 3) Standing Abs...I am telling you this so that I will feel better about eating the three red velvet cookies. I love Exercise TV.

10) I wish I had more money. Don't we all!

As in, "Pippi is being a Tool Bucket tonight." (Nah, I'm never a Tool Bucket.)

Why am I tool focused tonight? I have no idea. Maybe it was that Absolut Mandarin vodka with a splash of cranberry I had about an hour ago. Hmmm.

Hi Bleeps,

The Pipster is back. Thank you all so much for stopping by and taking time to write a note of support. It is nice to know that you enjoy reading my posts.

In a nut, work has been extremely busy and I also had an issue with my ex-husband. Mandy from Since My Divorce has been terrific about encouraging me to seek legal counsel so that I know my rights; however, I am just not ready…yet. P.S. you can read all about my divorce on her blog.

Last night I spoke with Nicki of Suddenly Single Journey and we had a nice talk. It is always good to speak with Nicki and I miss reading her blog and everyone else’s blog too! I also miss reading everyone’s tweets.

While I may not post every day going forward, I will post when I can. The one thing I realized while on hiatus was how much my blog family has come to mean to me. You all ROCK!

Do not "Release the Kraken" on Andy Cohen, Jim Carrey or Liam Neeson

Jim Carrey has been tweeting about Kraken for the last few weeks and I had no clue what he was talking about. I thought maybe it was weed. Anyways, over the weekend I watched Andy Cohen's, "Watch What Happens: Live," on Bravo TV. Andy had Liam Neeson on the show and lo and behold, I learned about Kraken. Here is a funny clip of Liam releasing his middle finger and the Kraken on Justin Bieber (he doesn't know who Justin Bieber is, but Andy fills him in). I think Jim Carrey and Liam Neeson need to go out drinking together!

Also, P.S. Andy Cohen, I would love to be a non-celebrity guest on your show. Just for shits and giggles. xoxo -Pippi

P.P.S. I had my two drink max last night watching the Masters (BTW, I am so happy for Phil Mickelson, his wife Amy and their family. What an emotional and well deserved victory!) The drinking of me Kraken resulted in my short film, "Pippiturbo" where I reveal my new look as Pippiturban.

Hi Bleeps! (An abbreviation for bloggy peeps, from my peep Kimber.)

Welcome to my silly little blog. I am 37 years old, divorced, work full-time and am a mom of two (boys...ages 8 & 10). I live with my boyfriend (I hate that word though, as he is 49). I refer to him as BF and we met on Match.com.

I talk about things like vibrators, Botox, body wraps, hating having my period and all sorts of random stuff that pops in to my head. This blog is not very deep. I am not a writer and I tend to write short and sweet because I don't have a long attention span (nor a lot of time).

I don't like to show my identity because, well, I don't reall want a lot of people that I know to know I talk about some of the stuff I talk about. BF coined the name "Pippi" because I put my short hair up into clips at night for some odd reason. I've never had long hair, so maybe this is just me having long hair envy. Anyways, going forward, I have a new thingie, which I will call Pippiturban. Last night, I wrapped my head in a scarf (which looked like a turban..David of Dad's House would say I looked very Lawrence of Arabia), and BF said he much preferred that look to those "damn" clips which look like TV antennas.

Anyways, I LOVE a good party and I think I will go fix myself a drink (water now, because I am at work and it is 9:23am); however you can bet your bananas that I will be having a pineapple martini this evening FOR SURE. Thank you 5 MinutesForMom.com for this awesome idea!

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Hi Bleeps. It's been a long day. The Bad: The lady with the red box got past Security and made it on to my floor. The Good: I finally found my vibrator over at T's Quest. T's dog ate it.

The Ugly Truth: I found this video very thought provoking. It has been nominated for the Sixth Annual DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards.
